Perkins advanced combustion technology makes the Perkins series diesel engine highly productive and fuel efficient. The 1300 series range features fully authorized electronic engines coupled with hydraulically actuated electronic controlled unit injectors, with clean, strong power, low noise and high fuel efficiency. 5. 2200 Series 350 to 500 kVA

Developed on the basis of a proven industrial engine, this 13 litre turbocharged and charge cooled unit provides economic and reliable power at key modes in the industry. All the Perkins series diesel engines in this family meet the requirements of EPA/EC Stage 2 emission standards and are capable of meeting 1⁄2 TA Luft (1986) NOx levels.
6. 2500 Series 455 to 687 kVA

A unique piston and cylinder design, incorporating an individually operated unit fuel injector, gives the Perkins 4000 series diesel engines ultra-low fuel consumption and emissions. The gas powered engines available in this range received the Queen Award for Environmental Achievement.
